The overexposed glare in the background is rather distracting (allthough not as bad as typical dreary underexposed 'arty' pictures)
Interesting shot, did you use a remote?

The neutral grad absolutally kills any colour in the sky

A very nice image,no doubt about it.
Personally i wouldn't have it hanging on my wall though, because the converging lines are far too strong
While i didn't have time to read through others comments i did catch one that says it well - 'Is it an abstract or a landcape?'
Mixing the two so strongly doesn't work

Unaltered (except for turing it upside down )

Thanks Jim,the comment on darkening the sky is a good one,i tend not to think of these things as i'm allways after the realistic look.I now remember seeing a similar (darker) daylight moon shot that looked much better.
I wasn't leaning against anything.Curious myself i checked and found they were taken at 1/1250th ,so it's probably not surprising they are all 'ok'.This particular one is above average though.Just luckyYes these lenses are really quite good if you can live with the obvious mirror lens drawbacks.Bob Atkins has done an excellent review/test-do a search for an article titled (i think ) 'mirror mirror'

This really is an amazing image.
In fact it would be one of the best i've ever seen but for one blatantly obvious mistake -the wings just aren't right. They look like they have a shrinking/wasting disease.
Also that cloth in the background is pointless.Otherwise a stunner, absolutally brilliant -
Glad you like it Andy. That's the moon-it was taken at about 2:30AM

Im abit surprise some want to dramatically change this photo. It's really quite complete as it is i think.
The blured head and shoulders/general background look great against the scattered (and suprisingly sometimes sharp) image through the water. There are aother factors but it's later here and i cant think too well ;)Overall a great and interesting image that has the *major* attraction of not being thrown together in photoslut

Seriously good-i like!
The only bad thing i can say about it is that the smoothing effect is way too overdone .BR>The perspective, background, pose, facial expression and lack of colour all work extremely well together .It has immediate impact :)

This is a very interesting shot to be sure.
My first thoughts are how much better would it have been if everything weren't so soft !Certainly the dust ,low light and nessesary depth of field issues make it difficult to get a sharp shot- but then i checked the authors other work and realised he seems to have deliberatly made everything soft.Bad choice...:(
With a little more sharpness-just a little more, this shot would have been bordering on greatness. As it is it's more a waste of an awsome scene -
Blow it up big and donate it to your local airport lounge ,LOL

Haha, good one!Something abit different and interesting

Oh good grief

This one attracted me with it's interesting subject and pose -but it's too dark!Brighten it up abit.It looks like a slide without the highlights!

Very nice-and brings back great memories!
Unfortunately it's overcompressed i think.I suspect this because there are lighter patches where the colours have gone blotchy-and the whole thing lacks detail.
Try re-editing the original and saving it at 100Kb or more.Experiment abit. -
VERY nice pic.Great view and very good cropping.
All i would try to improve is the cropping on the right (i want to see how far the cliff extends) and maybe (...*maybe*) see it in colour.
I suspect it might look more real and less like art if it was in colour, but i'm guessing -
Like most digital allterations-this is abit of a waste of time
