  1. Thanks Fritz. Trouble is I can't even see my own post STILL! I have used every opt-in option and still it does not show me the image when I try to expand the thumbnail which fortunately is large enough.

Love to be able to actually see the image. I believe it's Devi too? Can see thumbnail only
  3. Sandy, thanks for replying. It's not that I don't have the images backed-up or stored in duplicate elsewhere, it's the ready access to online images that is lost for referral or reference. Photo.Net is not the only platform that hosts images, but previously I could quickly download a copy of an image from my online port. Now I can't even see a gallery. If we are paying for a site which hosts our images and it starts to become a huge time suck and inconvenience to retrieve images, I will likely be seeking another option as the current status here seems to be static and floundering. No offense put towards your efforts either. Very appreciative of the thankless work you do here.
  4. I am not sure what images I have lost amongst the 8,000 that were corrupted and lost here. And still no way to see "albums/galleries". Very distressing as is. Is there any update on the album/gallery visibility issue? And how can I get a list of photos that were corrupted and lost? Want to see what may be lost of mine.
  5. Considering a wholesale move to SmugMug but I am not sure what images I have lost amongst the 8,000 that were corrupted and lost here. And still no way to see "albums/galleries". Very distressing as is. Is there any update on the album/gallery visibility issue? And how can I get a list of photos that were corrupted and lost? Will post this to Photo.Net Site Help forum for max visibility.
  6. Same happening on Windows 10 and all browsers here. I am still waiting to see my "Albums" which are still not visible.
  7. This is still a problem even for my own images (blurred-out) and even after opt-in is selected. NSFW settings are still broken.
  8. I do like what Kmac did. I also love that he put a very positive spin on the ongoing pursuit of landscapes. I love a constructive critique and amply illustrated an improved image.
  9. I am guilty of the same issue: overly saturated color landscapes (in particular). It has been all the rage for many years amongst top landscape photographer's (I am not one). But for starters, you will notice most striking landscapes are shot during the golden hour (an hour after sunrise and before sunset) rather than mid afternoon or midday. The contrast you gain helps the super-saturated image. However, I think the visible sky tones are pretty much right-on (at least on my old monitor). Emphasis and focus on the foreground elements where they are sharp, draws ones attention into the image further. It looks like only the middle ground is actually in focus and the foreground and background elements seem soft. A wider angle lens stopped down to f/11 or more might have helped here and you might have needed a tripod to get the smaller apertures into play. But of course, it's likely after the fact now. The Southwest is tough to illustrate in photography because colors are intense but you don't want them to look unnatural either. But those magic hours are generally best with the greater saturated colors, and I realize you might not have that option here.

  11. I did try the cookie clearing suggestion and then re-entered the image by way of the comments, and voila' there was the opt-in feature! Not very practical, and very convoluted. So I second the motion, "Hope they're working on it," at least as far as seamlessly integrated.

Cleared all cookies and now I see the image after coming back through the comments. Love these behind the scenes (BTS) images too. It's real life, not artfully posed or contrived (usually). Casual and free, love it!

Shame I can't actually see this when selected outside of the category. Have opted-in for NSFW on my own page, but when selectively opened in the category, it's all blurred without any opt-in choice. Looks good in the main category section though.
  14. I do not see any opt-in feature on individual images either. Even my own images which I have opted-in for already from my profile activity.
  15. Flood waters had just receded that morning.
  16. Still not sure how to see my galleries, upload an image to one of them, or just upload an image with the rest of my images ( I can see them now!)?? Not a thread, not to a forum, no new topic, just how do I upload a new photo with my other photos?? Still do not see any galleries as before. We are 10 days out and regular site functionality is obscured, non-intuitive or plain just not working.
  17. Seems like basic information and I find no reference or activity button or category to perform a new photo upload with? (Maybe I should be more concerned about getting my images off of the site)?
  18. This is true, there is no solid way to prevent image theft but now there's nothing, not even an anti right-click prevention measure.
