I noticed the plant, the texture of the stones, the white/black areas,
the lines and geometrical elements... I wanted to keep all that in a
picture. Comments?

This is a high contrast/density version of this picture. I especially liked the balance of lights and shadows, as well as the reflections on the spikes in the left shadowed area that continue the line like a natural negative grid.
Your opinion?

Thank you for your comments.

From a 'normal' Exposure (Tower exposed to the right, deep blue sky of the early morning), I lowered the Curve to get more density and emphasize the building. Your opinion?
(I believe this could have been done as well with under-exposure while shooting, but Signal/Noise Ratio would be much lower)

Doh... I never saw that 'bug'! It may be due to the fact that I changed my mind about that first photo and replaced it with the current one (instead of deleting + adding). It's fun, though, as I liked both photos but wanted to keep only one => that's another way to display things... :)
Should I tell you a secret? Ok... it's not the sun reflection in the window. It's a lamp turned on in that room (it was actually quite dark).

The Title actually refers to me... :)

Early in the morning, walking by the Seine...
(I just had a few seconds to get that picture when I arrived before he left the quay)

Thank you for your comments. I agree that the lamposts mix with the building and lessen the picture clarity. I wanted to isolate the lamposts to get a stronger balance/framing and tried different spots around without success (I barely saved one lampost :)

What is your opinion on this picture?
(I couldn't sleep during the night, so I decided to wander in Paris at dawn and take some pictures. This couple probably didn't sleep either... an intimate moment with few witnesses)

It was raining and the sky was dark over Paris, when the Sun re-
appeared just before sunset during 15 minutes or so. I noticed the
full rainbow only minutes before the end: I just had enough time to
get my camera and take some shots through my window. Comments are
welcome.

Playing with reflection... playing with levels...
All comments/advice are welcome. Thank you.

The texture of the stonewall lighted by the lamp was like coming up in
the night. Perfect background for a portrait...

Interesting framing and use of colors. The reflection gives a particular mood to this picture. I like it!

Thank you for your comment. What you see in the sky is the moon (almost half). You would recognize it only on a A4 or larger print...

I liked the shape of the lampstreet echoed by the Sacré Coeur's
Campanile... while lights and shadows provide some sense of
perspective. Comments are welcome.
