1.
When I mentioned zeiss it was simply to have a comparison and not todays lenses but rather past SLR lenses for contax for example

 2.
Sounds like a crazy question but I am thinking of buying a second hand leica R7 and adding some average leica lenses. How good would these be compared to say zeiss? Is there a different quality to these lenses? I Know they are less contrasty than zeiss but what about the image quality itself?

 3.
Thanks for those interesting responses. I do have the zeiss 50mm f1.4 for my contax camera so may well start off will that having said that I know of a reputable place selling the 55mm f1.8 at a reasonable price I use the term loosely so it is a question of waiting for sony to bring out it's new cameras

 4.
I will be getting a Sony A7R or whatever else comes along at some point. The question is do I get a 55mm f1.8 zeiss with all the quality attributed to it or do I get possibly an Olympus 55mm f1.2 lens or use my Minolta 50mm f1.2 MD lens is the zeiss really so much better than these old lenses?

 5. I have a minolta AF 28mm f2 RS lens though I have not had the opportunity to use it much. I am thinking of buying the olympus 28mm f2 lens for my Olympus collection which I sporadically buy items for as I have heard really good things about it. How do these lenses compare? I intend to keep my minolta
 6.
I might depends on my finances the A99 is a very good camera lighter than my A900 and great image quality

 7. Don't know where you are based but RD photographic used to stock a great deal of these enlargers so they will know but most enlargers would print 120 film it's a question of making sure it's of a suitable quality
 8.
I'm looking for a new monitor for my PC anything between £300-£600 for a 24" screen a widescreen is not needed traditional is fine I would appreciate any suggestions

 9.
Recently had my Minolta 135mm STF lens stolen it seems and on the receipt there does not seem to be a serial number though there is a number. I cannot be certain what it is but would anyone what kind of serial numbers the STF lens had the Minolta version

 10.
I have a hand held meter already and used to shoot on slide film a lot I am hoping to go out and use the camera tomorrow as my film arrived in the post this morning. Is it better to scan negative film of this format or have it developed and printed in a lab assuming it is a good one though at the start I will be shooting ordinary subjects

 11.
Have ordered some Fuji 160 not sure which NPS or NPN they only had one variety I think it was NPS will try slides later yes film certainly has a different look smoother I think and colour negative is easier to start with I forgot to mention in the package there was also a polaroid backso how expensive is that and is it necessary to use it?

 12.
Just bought the above camera with two 120 backs, lens wlf and metering prism really because I always wanted a medium format camera. I deally a 6by7 but wasn't sure about the bronica and the mamiya pro 2 seems a touch expensive. I'm wondering did I do the right thing is the quality better than my sony a900? havn't put any film through yet shame it's not possible to print slide film directly anymore would like some thoughts on the quality of this camera

 13.
Wow! And yes I'm posting from the UK

 14.
Thanks guys interesting reading the owner has offered to meet in the west end did this once before and was ok. The lack of a manual focus ring is slightly concerning. Of those that do own this camera or have owned it do you have your images printed in the darkroom or scanned?

 15.
The one problem he's not offering returns in case of a problem

 16.
This is a millennium outfit in mint condition all lenses flash and filters is £1000 a fair price?

 17.
I'm thinking of getting a contax G2 complete outfit priced at over £1100. I'm first of all thinking is the price ok and secondly how these cameras compare with modern DSLR's I know that may sound like sacrelidge to some here but I've never owned a rangefinder before
