Thanks for advice. The shot is taken with my Nikon 70-200 f2,8 lense extended with Nikon 1,7 teleconverter. My reason for stopping down was to ensure blured propellers. Assume a ND grad filer combined with a lower ISO would have been better.

Thanks for your advice. The picture is taken with my Nikon 70-200 f2.8 lens. Reason for stopping down was to make the smoke blurred. The picture is taken with aperature priority. You are right, I did no panning. Einar

Think this is the best of your aurora shots. The light fills the sky and gives the shot an abstract touch, while mirroring itself into the sea.
-
This is a nice capture of the aurora, even with a croocked horizon.
-
From the light conditions it seams that there is some daylight left. To make it an even better shot I think the exposure should have been darker, making the greenness in the aurora borlalis stand out.

From Sola airshow 2012 where this WW2 workhorse was demonstrating its
capabilities. The roar of its RR Merling engine is awsome.. Enjoy...

Another shot of the same F16 while it perform sharp turns on afterburner.
This is shot at 240mm, f18, 1/320s using my favorite 70-200 lens with a
1.7 converter.
Comments welcome

Capturing it at even a lower shutter speed would have been great, but I didn´t dare to go lower. Decided to play it safe. This was the first shot in a sequence of three, but the plane is not this sharp on the two others.
Also capturing the pressure wave from the afterburner shows the power in play. Only the soundtrack is lacking.

From the air show at Sola Airport Stavanger in June 2012. The aircraft is
flown by Major Eskil Amdal, Norways only certified show pilot.
Such event creates a lot of opportunities, while at the same time hard to
catch due to speed and croud. The shutter speed is 1/80 second, done to
blur out the background while panning. What ya think?

Playing around with my new 85 f1.4 lense in the garden. Using my
daughter as model, where she was exercising her tight-rope skills. Its shot
at 200ISO, f4,5 and 1/80 second. Reason to push down shutter speed was
to try capture some of the motion while freezing her face.
Any thoughts most welcome

Square is a very brutal format. I think this scene would have been better idone in a 1:2 hight-width format removing the water in front of the mirrored forrest at the right.

Choosing BW was right for this shot. Creates the right mood from this snowy landscape. Nice sky as well.

The is a good bearer of its title. Technically speaking I find the shot well composed with good symetri. That said, I fine the sky and light boring.
I think this kind of picture need a more dramatic sky to stand out. Combine that with being closer to the nearest masts would give the shot more drama.

Sunday was very rainy, but in the late afternoon the weather improved.
Was lucky and found my self at the right spot for 5-10 minutes. Managed
to capture this double full rainbow using my 14-24 at 14mm.
