This photo is amazing. The tones, and the graphical, almost abstract quality of this really add to its value. I like how its nearly monochromatic, but the blue hue gives it a sense of coldness that works well with the interrupted bridge - a dynamic winter/harsh/force of nature type feeling.

I love the expression on this girl's face, nicely complemented by the action of her twisting her hair. Great work!

Great timing, use of lighting to give it a dramatic feel. I'm not sure if the background is digitally added in, but it might have been better to give it a darker color to accentuate the almost sensual nature of the blue glass fish and velvety shadows.

I think what makes this photo not work for me (in my opinion) is that it doesn't tell anything about the person/religion/culture/etc. There is a sense of the exotic, depending on what your life experiences have consisted of, but it would have made the photo stronger to have seen the monk engaged in something that depicts something of the life of a monk in such an environment. Maybe if he was meditating with his eyes closed, even that small difference would have made the photo have more intrinsic interest. Just a thought.

I like the tones of this photo, but I would suggest either going in alot closer to play off of the woman's dress/hair/etc. or back off and allow it more context. As it is, its kinda in between and feels unfinished.

Excellent colors in this photo, the background, her little watering bucket (?), the dress and flowers all work together nicely. The flare is distracting though, and detract from what would otherwise be a nice peaceful shot.

This is a beautiful photo. The moment is depicted just right, and it looks natural and candid. I think the choice of tone is perhaps a bit too much brown/magenta shifted for my tastes, the shot may have more strength as a straightforward black and white shot. The choice of tone, I feel, adds a degree of sentimentality that the photo already has on its own.

The colors and composition in this photo give it a painter like feel. Only minor critique, and not one that you might necessarily have had full control over, is the use of the black headband(?). The photo would have been enhanced by seeing the model's natural hairline, and her apparently long hair coming into and out of the frame, instead of having the headband cut the image off so abruptly.

I absolutely love this photo. I think the filter you used to give it this warm/aged effect did exactly that. Combine it with the picked fruit(so its a photo with purpose), brown/green hues, and the model's naturalistic pose, and you have a very warm(emotionally), candid looking photo. A snapshot in the very best sense of the word. Great job!

I really like the soft lighting and the tones of this photo. I love how the overall high key lighting is balanced by allowing a majority of the subject to fall into shadows, giving the subject more "depth". Nice job!

The effect and tones you chose for this photo are dead on. It gives it an abstract quality that is enhanced by the high key lighting. I like how you retained just enough detail to keep her face cleanly shot. Great job!

Colors are perfect on this one. Nice composition!

I like the framing of the child via the chains (on a swing?). The sweater vest with the flag gives it a July 4th, Americana feel that works well with the background of a forest/wooded area.

I like the setup of this photo, but feel it would have been better to expose for the bride, and let the environment blow out more rather than the exposure chosen here. It makes the bride seem less of a primary subject.

I think this photo could be improved by using selective focus to either draw us into the cafe, or draw us into the environment. As it is, I find the choice of a large depth of field makes the photo conflicted in its intent.
