I don't know why but I'm drawn to this photo like a bee to honey... Does anyone echo my sentiments? It's a simple shot with an everyday subject. Perhaps it's the simplicity and tranquility that this photo exudes that charms me no end. I like it a lot. Thank you for sharing! :)

What an interesting play of shadows. I would enjoy it even more if there was more contrast and if the shadow of the ball could be seen. Nevertheless, this is a smashing idea! Keep it going! :) -
If not for that stud sticking out, i think this shot will be a 9/10. What an interesting composition. Good one!

I don't know why but the eyes convey such an intense feeling of sorrow. That plus the fire gives me the idea that some loved one was lost in a fire accident... Feel sad even just looking at the pic. You're spot on at tugging at my emotional strings, if ever that was your intention...
