Pelican -Landing (Pelecanus onocrotalus)

This pelican ( Pelecanus onocrotalus) photographed during landing is the only pelican in Sardinia.

Years ago a group of pelicans had the wrong migration route and they stopped in Sardinia for a few weeks where they are not present and then left, only one remained and it is difficult to photograph it. Nikod D500, f / 5.6, 1/1000 sec, ISO 200. Thanks for your comments

what a gorgeous photo of this unique Sardinian pelican landing! I very much like your story about this bird staying on the island when the others left.
