tai 3 Posted October 3, 2019 Wonderful shot, Giangiorgio! I guessed, this is an image of one of the stages of the construction of a complex of power plants using wind energy plus salt . Very original beautiful industrial landscape! I like it, Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment

michaellinder 16,611 Posted October 3, 2019 Giangiorgio, this is another dazzling night photograph. Given your setting the shutter speed at 1/6th of a second, it's no wonder that the turbines' blades appear to be moving very rapidly. The effect not only contributes meaningfully to the image's appearance and impact, but it also serves to point out metaphorically how important these devices are in the struggle to reduce the use of coal and other carbon-based sources of energy. Aside from the glorious colors and the sharp detail, what immediately caught my attention is how the image's composition yields the impression that, the further back a viewer's eye travels, there is a marked decrease in the myriad of elements present in the bottom third. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted October 4, 2019 Hi Giangiorgio, an unusual landscape for a nature photographer like you, but you appear to have many more photographical skills up your sleeve. I like this industrial landscape with its very busy composition that really works well and the heavily yellow morning glow colors. Well done, GG! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted October 5, 2019 Magnifica Giorgio. I like that you intentionally did not look for steadying the camera, and you masterfully (and successfully) experimented with movement, producing a very interesting"shine" in the wind turbines. Superb and creative image. Bravo! DG Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 461 Posted October 6, 2019 You're right Daniel the second exposure is not perfectly in register with the first but only for luck , in the rotation the blades were placed at 90 degrees, giving symmetry to the blades rotation Link to comment
