A photo I made in Artis, the Amsterdam zoo. The lizard was kind enough to position itself under the heat of the lamp in its cage.

Made with Olympus E-520 and an Olympus Zuiko 40-150 mm (@ 67 mm) 4.0-5.6 lens handheld.

ISO 100, f 4.5, 1/60 sec.

Thank you for your comments! To be honest, I didn't think I could get a half decent photo of the lizard, because it was lurking in the back somewhere. Then the animal made my day and began to warm itself by creeping into the light. But the circumstances were far from ideal; 1/60 sec and very little DoF. Kind regards, Vincent

Congratulations Vincent for this fabulous portrait of this beautiful lizard that stands out very sharp against a dark background. I'm starting to use this new Photo.net which after months is still not working well and I don't quite understand how it works, I miss all my galleries.
