a well composed arrangement of lines,shapes and textures with a hint of color, that might be discarded altogether; the colorful pictures (?) on the wall are competing for attention with the rest of the image that doesn't have much color, imo one of the best features of this abstract. I looked to comments of others to aid my understanding of why I am attracted to this image. I think it is primarily the directional texture that is so unique coupled with your mastery of composition. This is excellent work, Michael.
