Wayne Sadler 591 Posted June 29, 2022 “Part of the secret of a success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.” – Mark Twain - Somewhere under awnings off Piazza San Marco in Venezia is a restaurant serving the best spaghetti frutti di mare you can imagine. When we first sat at our al fresco table there were few other customers. My dish attracted stares as soon as it arrived and in no time the restaurant was filled with diners. I still have multi-sensory memories of that meal. Link to comment
setsail728 15 Posted June 29, 2022 Wayne, in my view this is one of your best work! Brings back memories of when I visited Venezia! Great “painting!” Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 591 Posted June 30, 2022 Thanks, Warren. Your comment is both kind and informative. I liked the image but really did not think it would appeal to others. Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted June 30, 2022 Hi Wayne, a well framed restaurant scene from Venice (you ate at piazza San Marco, must have been quite expensive, but it's good to read the food was so good). I like the atmosphere, but the face of the woman in the foreground who seems to be frowning is standing out and slightly distracting from the whole of the image. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 591 Posted June 30, 2022 Thanks, Vincent. Probably was an expensive meal but I enjoyed. Yes, the frown caught my attentions too but I thought "It is what it is." Link to comment
