Hi Warren,

I've seen quite a lot of your photos with birds in them and like most others you've uploaded, this one clearly shows your interest in bird photography. I think it is a nice portrait and you did everything right: exposure, crop and focus. Only the lens and resolution of the Powershot camera let you down a bit. I hope you can find a combination of a camera and lens that do more justice to your talent for making these photos and your interest in the subject. There are lots of new (and used) cameras and lenses that would yield better results. I hope I'm not making you feel bad in any way; that is not my intention at all. Kind regards, Vincent
