DG, your taste in composers is certainly analogous with your taste in photo subjects. What Giangiorgio described is tantamount to what others would call noise. Regardless, the treatment goes perfectly with the image's title and provides the mood photographically that is analogous with Mussorksky's musical masterpiece. - - My best always, michael

A well crafted image of earth’s bronchioles (trees). The low key tonal values seem to unify the composition and aid the sensation that everything is part of the respiration.

a wonderful tribute to Mussorgsky! The barren mountain top that you photographed is certainly a suitable depiction of the character of the piece you refer to. I agree with Giangiorgio about the similarity to a B&W print with grain. Kind regards, Vincent
