Primary Colors

I took this at a car show in New Jersey a few weeks back. I previously posted a similar image, but did a much tighter crop on this one. Hope you all like it.

Patrick, I seem to recall this image from a while ago, except that its colors made me concerned about vomiting. The color palette here is much more . . . uh, palatable. It's amazing how much a person sitting in a truck's cab can see. This potential story is a gift the image provides. - - My best always, michael

Original abstract, Patrick! This interesting geometry, colors and light created a big-eyed character with an expression of some bewilderment. It seems confused by your attention. Well done! Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana

Hi Patrick,

well seen and executed shot with an interesting composition. I have to ask you: did you see the opportunity to make this image right away or did it happen after you viewed your shots of the day? I'd be happily surprised if you saw the set of primary colors right away. I congratulate you on this image anyway, but the answer to that question makes you either a good photographer or a visionary in the tradition of Ernst Haas. Kind regards, Vincent

Hi Vincent, Interesting comment and question. Thanks for turning me on to Ernst Hass. I saw this interesting white truck at an antique farm equipment show a few weeks ago and thought it might make a good abstract. I uploaded the original to my photos so you can take a look. I obviously did a lot of work to this image. From what I see, I'm finding that less is more with these types of images so I slowly had a go with it cropping and editing out the items I thought didn't work. I actually can't remember if I noticed all the colors, I do remember seeing the tunnel type perspective of the original, and that's what I thought would be interesting. You never know where the road will lead. Best regards, Patrick. PS I tried to upload this earlier with the photo, but it disappeared into the ether. I hope this works.

In my humble opinion, this is top quality Avant-garde magnificent visual impression. This definitely should be a limited-edition top-quality gallery or fancy residential/industrial with a "view through the times". A most unique photograph I cannot praise enough. DG
