Giangiorgio Crisponi 468 Posted September 11, 2021 Symmetry - (Phoenicopterus roseus) - I propose again this image that I deleted thinking it was the cause of the 404 error that did not allow me to participate for over a week and which now fortunately seems to have been solved. I photographed these two flamingos resting with the neck folded over the body, the open eye alert, with a symmetrical pose, Nikon D500, Sigma supertele 300-800mm, f / 5.6, 1 / 2500sec, ISO 200, Thanks for your comments Link to comment
tai 3 Posted September 11, 2021 A delightful picture created by you and nature, Giangiorgio! Makes an impression of silence and harmony. I like everything about this frame! The moment of the flamingo's rest is masterfully captured. Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment

vincentoiseau 83 Posted September 12, 2021 Hi Giangiorgio, I'm happy too the '404 error' has been solved. There is beautiful natural symmetry in this image, and you were there to capture it with your skills and equipment. I love the reflections and the small difference in pose between the birds. Very well exposed too! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment

michaellinder 16,612 Posted September 13, 2021 Giangiorgio, again I'm stymied! I've read and reread all the previous comments and, perhaps because of early-onset senility, I can't come up with anything original. So, please accept the thought that viewing your work always is both a privilege and a learning experience. Your mastery of the artistic and technical aspects of photography is responsible for images like this. - - My best always, michael - - - Ciao! Link to comment

jekamobile 110 Posted September 21, 2021 Hi Giangiorgio. Another awesome shot of those beautiful birds. This is called a photographer's luck when a such unique situation occurs - almost ideal simmetry. You can master your shot probably a little bit longer than usual when birds are still. Flamingos probably looked at you first and thought: ha, we know this guy, no worries, we are safe to sleep with him around. Only that strange clutching noise. What is that? Link to comment
