vincentoiseau 83 Posted June 8, 2021 Hi Jack, apart from the subtlety of the 'frame within a frame' and the marvelous application of how it may work when you add a slightly colorful element into the mix, this image shows another element that I think is crucial: the blackboard on the right seems to have an explanatory meaning. This photo could have been made at a school, possibly hinting at your personal history. That would explain the striking color of the vase/ umbrella container (and the odd angles) in the second frame somehow. But that is only my reading of this extraordinary image. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted June 8, 2021 Vincent's analysis of the image is spot on. To add my two cents, what I see is a reality that hints at the presence of human beings. Bravo, Jack. Link to comment
tai 3 Posted June 9, 2021 Remarkable picture, Jack! Very interesting composition, geometry, layering (visual and notional), developing the imagination. I see your reflection!? Great double frame trick! Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
