Pierre, the low contrast treatment fits the subject well. Partisans I've met in person haven't openly sought recognition, but they certainly are heroes. That's what I see and feel from this image. - - My best always, michael

Partisans in Yugoslavia received British uniforms by air in the WWII, Jamie, not that the sculptor loved that, he has only been realistic! Thank you for your comment! Cheers! PDE
