Birds of prey. - Food Exchange – (Milvus migrans). I photographed this exchange of food between black kites, in Extremadura Spain with Nikon D500, Sigma 150-600 sport, f / 6.3. 1/ 2500sec, ISO 1000. The birds are free in the wild. Thanks for your comments

Giangiorgio, superb work as usual. Pierre ably detailed the image's technical elements that make it work. I'll have to take your word that these two birds are exchanging food. To me, they are having a tug of war. - - My best always, Michael - - - Ciao!

Hi Giangiorgio,

a wonderful scene shot at the right moment, these kites weren't that far away from you, even if you shot this at 600 mm; maybe you cropped the photo heavily, but it doesn't show. Good composition and focus. Obviously you couldn't remove the treetrunk in the background, which steals just a bit of the viewer's attention. Well done! Kind regards, Vincent

Thank you so much Vincent for your careful and friendly remarks. The photo was taken from inside an observation hut and the distance was about ten meters, unfortunately, the background was what actually disturbs , ciao Giangiorgio

Great genre scene, Giangiorgio! Beautifully captured! I wonder if it's a couple or a parent and a teenage chick? Bravo! Sorry for my belated comment! Sincerely, Tatiana

Tatiana your wonderful comments are always welcome. Also left me the question of whether it was a mother with a young person or an adult couple. , ciao Giangiorgio
