Giangiorgio Crisponi 486 Posted September 13, 2020 The fan cloud pattern repeats that of the fan of lights in the foreground, a very beautiful image, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
tai 3 Posted September 14, 2020 Beautiful shot, Tony! This composition, sky, light from different lanterns and shadows really give the impression of movement. Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted September 14, 2020 Tony...One impressive scene with magical/mysterious light and lighting with the Dipper in the sky to accompany the great slow moving cloud and the lantern spots on the front lawn casting the fan shadows competing with that cast by the trees behind the dipping sun .You made the scene fit perfectly in the range of your WA lense to create a image to examine and study,so I'll keep a copy in my Favorites folder.Bravo et salutations-Laurent Link to comment

vincentoiseau 83 Posted September 15, 2020 Hi Tony, what a marvelous shot! It's like the sky is moving along with a rotating light at the edge of the grass; it's not what's happening of course, but there's a visual connection between sky and earth here that I find compelling. I also like the balance between the starry sky and the greens on the ground. Great image! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment

Tony Long 28 Posted September 17, 2020 Thank you Vincent. Yes that is how it looks to me. Initially I was focused on the pattern produced by the new lights, then fortunately those clouds appeared to make that connection in the photo. Regards Tony Link to comment
