DGorinstein 20 Posted May 2, 2020 Tatiana and Wayne: You honor me once again, thus a bow in thanks for taking a look at the image and paying a kind and most welcomed visit. I send you my best regards. P.S. NOTE: A comment totally aside. I received a visit and praise from an anonymous fellow member of PN named Frieder Galwand, to whom I kindly ask to allow me to see whatever it is your work is, as you have nothing posted on PN. vincentoiseau 83 Posted May 2, 2020 Hi Daniel, a very well-balanced and appealing image that has lots of interesting parts that go well together: the view from inside into a garden, the strong light from the right hitting the floor and the ornaments and top of the antique desk(?) and creating nice shadows and the intriguing window post that seems to be both straight and skew. An image I will certainly return to. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted May 2, 2020 Daniel, much has been said already about the quality of this image, but I'd like to add my two-cents too. Lovely composition and you've handled the dynamic range perfectly. Truly a "room with a view." I think this could make a very effective black and white image too, have you tried a conversion. Wonderful image, and thank you for sharing with all of us. Very inspiring work. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted May 3, 2020 Daniel, I read all the previous comments to see if there is an aspect of this remarkable image I could address. Fortunately, I found one: atmosphere/emotion/optimism. It's communicated in the bright sunlight, both inside and outside. Without it, we would not be able to witness lighter shades of color in the interior. I consider myself a deeply spiritual person, and I also find this image exuding it to the point of giving me chills; this is as honest as I can be. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted May 3, 2020 Hell of a photograph, Daniel. Your balance of indoor and outdoor light is superb. Although the photo is contemporary, the feeling is timeless as it so often is in your pictures. Link to comment
