frigo 4,155 Posted January 23, 2020 Giangiorgio...Agree that a good sky always enhances any scene ;in addition,it brings balance to one like this in particular. It is too bad that this is so out of the way that I end up being alone, almost all of the time,to enjoy but fortunately I can share it here on PN.Thank you as always for your kind observation.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 591 Posted January 23, 2020 It was an education for me to decide which of these 4 excellent images I liked the most. I chose this one, but cannot explain why. Thanks for the education, Laurent. Link to comment
gregverena 343 Posted January 23, 2020 looks like winter is about to get serious with you- this late, isn't it? Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 23, 2020 Wayne...I am glad you like.I have a similar predicament in selecting which shot to upload after taking a bunch of clicks as walking the beach, every piece of ice combined with the different pockets of green water and the overhead sky project ''takable'' scenes....too many to choose from,so I take more than less and push the decision when I download and view on the screen.I'll add a few more while waiting for the next opportunity/storm or whatever happens on my closed circuit.Merci et salutations-Laurent Link to comment

frigo 4,155 Posted January 24, 2020 Greg & Verena...Yes!!! I and everybody here are happy with the slow winter(less shovelling and lower heating bills) we are having.Today was like spring with temperatures in the melting zone and we are counting the days to mid-March....the winter decline target!Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted January 24, 2020 Cher Laurent: I cannot but say that this is, for me, in my personal opinion, a unutmost sensitivity of the Cosmos, and who / where we are. I cannot but bow in respect, my friend Laurent .D.G. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 24, 2020 Daniel...Merci bien cher ami!I think our nature can be impressive and wherever we are,we can find scenes to amaze if we look closely enough as in this case at the tip of this very small island where winter can occupy almost half the year.Glad you like and again thank you for the kind appreciation.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
