Giangiorgio Crisponi 670 Posted January 7, 2020 Flamingos in flight. (Phoenicopterus ruber) Those flamingos in flight were fotographed with Nikon d850, Sigma supertele 300-800mm, f/9, 1/1000 sec, ISO 64. Thanks for your comment Link to comment
pablowarko 3 Posted January 7, 2020 It's hard to tell in 2-D but it looks like they fly in different planes, Giangiorgio. They must be very strong to fly in such an extended position. The blue sky is a perfect canvas to showcase these wonderful birds. Gorgeous colors, light and composition. A spectacular image. Greetings, Paul. Link to comment
tai 3 Posted January 8, 2020 Excellent shot, Giangiorgio! This picture beautifully demonstrates the amazing ability of flamingos to synchronize actions without any devices! Delight! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment

vincentoiseau 83 Posted January 9, 2020 Hi Giangiorgio, this is almost an abstract image. The first thing that struck me about it is that flamingos, unlike herons, fly with their necks streched out. The image is very simple in composition, but it keeps fascinating me. The colors are few too, but the entirely blue background is very suitable for this scene, as it puts more emphasis on the flying flamingos. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
charo 3 Posted January 9, 2020 Hello Giangiorgio. I like the formation of these flamingos in flight! They are more colorful than ours. Nice catch! Kind Regards, Rosario. Link to comment
