Another race, which you captured well, Tatiana. Wen I first looked at the thumbnail, I thought it was one of Pierre's, because of the appearance that one of the runners run was a few feet off the ground. Viewing the full-size image, I'm happy that my first impression wasn't that incorrect. The effect is due to the fact that the area on which all of the women, with one exception on the left, are running on a detailed surface. The lone runner in question appears to have levitated herself a bit. Finally, the image grabs attention quite easily due to the vivid colors. - - My best always, michael

Wonderful image, Tatiana! I wonder what method of selection you used to select them from the background in order to desaturate only the background! My sincere compliments, anyway! PDE

Thanks a lot, Pierre, for your interest and compliment! It was cloudy that day and then it started to rain. I sat in ambush and shot the participants running past. Next, several characters were selected. I hope I didn’t scare you with the result of the choice. They are running through a puddle. This simplified the task. The main steps were as follows:1. The choice of one photo that became the basis of the composition (with two yellow young ladies). 2. Using the "Selection Brush" tool, select the figures of all the characters. 3. Placement of selected figures in the main frame. 4. Use a filter oil brush (medium size) to the composition. 5. Placement of all selected figures again. 6. Use a filter oil brush (smaller) to the composition.Sincerely, Tatiana

Great composition! After reading the steps you went through to make the final photo I think you worked harder than the runners! You are without a doubt the winner here!
