a superb shot of this egret trying to tear a branch of a tree. I have seen this behaviour in other herons (this one alas we don't get to see where I live) and it is both wonderful to watch and funny. Dear Vincent also here in Sardinia this heron was relatively rare years ago, now it is easy to find it scattered all over the island especially following the flocks of sheep, thanks for your nice comment very much appreciated
