vincentoiseau 83 Posted December 8, 2018 Hi Tatiana, a wonderful black & white portrait 'en profile', a style of photo that you seem to have a talent for (like many other styles) , but that we rarely see, which is a pity. It is simple and effective and shows a determined man; at least that's what it looks like to me. Well done! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
tai 3 Posted December 9, 2018 Thank you a lot, Giangiorgio, glad to your attention and a compliment! The shot was really spontaneous, but more than a year ago. I did not intend to publish it then . Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
tai 3 Posted December 9, 2018 Thank you so much for your observation and compliment, Vincent! You are right about the character of my personage. At this point he looks at the interlocutor and is ready to replica. Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted December 9, 2018 Tatiana, I'm not sure whether this image's subject may be a sculpture , thanks to the black outlining the person. OK, it's a photograph, and a superior portrait at that. To me, the sharpness and the variety of grayscale tones lend a very natural, organic feel to the photo. You could have tried smoothing out the face, but this would have been at the cost of the stubble's elimination. Kudos to you for not taking that approach. Definitely, a favorite! - - My best always, michael Link to comment
