michaellinder 16,612 Posted October 29, 2018 Love it, Alf! The color contrast between the blue of the water and the warm colors in the balance of the image is pure eye candy. Yet, the gently cascading stream also screams gentility, peace, and tranquility, Overall, the image portrays nothing short of a haven for any living thing that happens to be there, even temporarily. I'm also impressed by the inclusion of a fence, which adds an implied human presence. Finally, the terraced appearance of the slopes leading to the stream is rather unusual, from the standpoint of my own experience. I've never seen this before. In general, this image is exceptionally we'll crafted but, more importantly, it reflects your deep love for nature. - - My best always, michael Link to comment

alfbailey 3 Posted December 9, 2018 MICHAEL Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback, it is very helpful to get an insight from others of just how they see the image. Much appreciated! I am going through a series of processing software suites at the moment but haven't yet made a final decision of which one to use. GIUSEPPE Many Thanks for your interest and kind words! WAYNE Sincere Thanks for your thoughts and observations! This has a kind of HDR look, which I'm not quite sure about. Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted December 11, 2018 Alf, I was absent from PN for about 4 months, for assorted reasons and so I missed this lovely image. It's the type of image I'm afraid you've become associated with, in a good way. Well composed, clarity, details and colors. A pleasure to see you back.................BR, Holger Link to comment
