setsail728 15 Posted August 10, 2018 Wonderful shot and congratulations on the Photo Of The Day award! I like how you processed the shot! Methinks this is a Brigantine rig. Or maybe a Topsail Schooner. I can't be sure. Link to comment

michaellinder 16,613 Posted August 10, 2018 However this vessel may be categorized, she is quite beautiful. Mitchell, congratulations are in order for the fine job you did in shooting and processing this image. It has a slight antique appearance and feel to it, owing to the somewhat desaturated colors and texture. And , lest I forget, congratulations on the POTD. - - michael Link to comment

setsail728 15 Posted August 11, 2018 FYI. My sailing braintrust all say she’s a Topsail Schooner. I agree. They are beautiful boats and your marvelous photo just verified that. Link to comment

randallgerber 0 Posted September 11, 2018 That looks like the Privateer Lynx, a replica of a famous ship built in 1812 and used as a blockade runner. Link to comment
