Pierre Dumas 268 Posted November 29, 2017 It looks very nice and artistic, looks like a shadow of some object as painting tripod or whatever it might be called! Cheers! PDE Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted November 29, 2017 PDE, the object above, and attached to, the door is a door opener! Thanks so much for your interest. - - michael Link to comment
tai 3 Posted December 1, 2017 Very stylish image, Michael! This abstraction is associated with Russian avant-garde artists. Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana P.S. It seems to me that in color the picture can also be interesting. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted December 1, 2017 Your remarks are very much appreciated, Tatiana. I never considered myself as even remotely associated with anyone with the "avant-garde" label. For your information, the original color version included nothing but brown and beiges. I worked with it for quite a while before converting it to b&w. Link to comment
tai 3 Posted December 2, 2017 Michael, your colorful abstract images made me color associations with the Russian avant-garde. As for this natural B&W abstraction, I want to note that these lines are an amazing coincidence with Kandinsky and /or Malevich, you just need to colorize the segments of the image between the lines in different colors !!! Michael, you are absolutely unique! I'm glad that sometimes there are such wonderful mystical coincidences! You will understand me better if you ask Google. Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment

michal_lewandowski2 0 Posted May 30, 2018 Hello Michael. Very striking visual. If wasn't for title, I'll be still wondering what it is. ;) I see you into black and white abstracts, like I am. Very nicely done. Link to comment
pablowarko 1 Posted May 11, 2020 Love the door opener shadow with that lovely grainy structure. A very powerful image that presents itself very well because of the contrast and light. A remarkable image. Best regards, Paul. Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted August 3, 2020 Nice texture and superb, one-of-a-kind capture of geometry....or architectural design. The simplicity and easy flowing of this image through the straight line and BW, makes it stand out as a minimalistic, artful enigma, leaving the observer agape, trying to wonder what you were actually seeing through your viewfinder. Bravo! Classy, refined photograph. DG Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted August 3, 2020 Paul: I'm sorry for the significant delay in acknowledging your kind and encouraging word. I'm very grateful. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted August 3, 2020 Daniel, I've always found texture interesting, especially in the ways it can enhance an image. That together with the geometry is what motivated me to create the image. Your thorough and supportive comments strongly encourage me to continue journey into the mystery of the abstract world. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
