Splendid series of dahlia!!!

A really beautiful result, Gregory and Verena!

I have one like this in my garden and they will bloom until the first frost hits them which could be any night this month.  By the way, a fine shot with natural looking colors. 

Another beautiful shot of one of the infinite varieties of gorgeous dahlias!! Wonderful control of light and shadow and again, I like how you softened the finish just a bit. Wonderful!

Good eyes to capture this! Try cropping this further to remove the dark area on the top right so that the frame has only the petals. It would give great effect as well.

Thank you all so very much for your nice comments! These are indeed  beautiful specimens with many different combinations of colors all on the same plant. We are threatened with a frost tonight - at least it will be close -
