Wow,this is indeed different from all others church photos you did.Is a moment you have been right in time to do this shot, the light between those two towers, also diffused colored light creates a special mood for composition. To me this elements:church-light gives a special dimension, even dark I do not feel it dramatic I feel it more spiritual. My compliments really for this photo.

Thank you for the kind appreciation.I happened by at the right time to get the sun at this level just behind the steeples. The sky was really good but it needed a bit of help in PP to get to this level of spectacular.

Merci et salutations amicales-Laurent

Thank you so much. This WA lense with its circular polarizer is a permanent fixture on this camera and I use it on 90% of my shots, most at the 10mm end,so if you can live with the accompanying distortions as I can,I strongly recommend that you should go for it.

Thank you kindly for the kind appreciation and so generous rating.I must tell you I was not so sure about this as I thought it to be on the dark side, but my wife(my first critic) gave me the nod,so I posted.Glad I did!

This is only the second time that one of my images has gathered that elusive(for me) 6/7 average rating.

Well done.  Beautiful work.  The brilliance is in not disturbing the subdued light of the church and allowing the sky to define the image.
