With the click of the shutter a moment is captured, a moment that will

never be captured again exactly the same. This is the amazing wonder

photography brings to me, a moment of wonder and beauty captured.

Thank you each for your time and thoughts.

I know just what you mean.  Landscape Photography is a never ending voyage of discovery, and seldom do conditions repeat themselves twice. Therein lies the beauty and wonder of this particular genre that gives rise to the passion and excitement we feel when we take that special shot.

The light and colours that only seem to arrive after a storm are very evident here. I really like the low cloud on the distant mountains and the richness of the grass. I'm kind of wishing that the wind had ceased so that you the reflections would have been more prominent, but having said that the trailing ripples are also an indication of the passing storm.

Compliments & Best Regards

Sherry,  How wonderful.  The amazing thing about what is captured depends on how you see, and you have a fine eye here.  I like the natural look of this image; it's both sharp, vivid, and soft all at the same time.  Excellent image.  Best to you. Larry

Thank you for your thoughts and time.

Alf,

I really appreciate your time and thoughts. The first shot of this area with the rainbow I posted awhile back is interesting in the change of color and light all because of the clouds, heavy dark clouds to breaking clouds with  color.

Tony,

Thank you for your thoughts, made me smile, liked your candy for eyes.

Liked your feelings about this scene, it was nature who was very kind to me that evening by showing off for me. Thank You.

It is a spectacular view in large. Excellent exposure, composition and colors. If you can highlight a little, the far a way mountain top snowy part. Just a little.

I think that it was John Ruskin who said that "Mountains are the beginning and end of natural scenery."  Whoever it was, he got that right!

This is a beautiful capture, Sherry.
