It is for me more than a memorialization of those particular individuals. It is as much a testament of man's destructive capabilities and ruthless savagery as it is a memorial. And, I fear no amount of canonization of the martyrs will change the path of the species. Dark? You betcha. But the evidence mounts with every passing year. -
