christineandrews 0 Posted July 15, 2009 My granddog enjoying the view off the dock...wish I had not cut off the bottom part of the chair... Link to comment
graneenie 571 Posted July 15, 2009 This is a wonderful shot! I got so involved in the whole scene that I didn't even notice the chair was cut off! Your grand dog looks so intent in watching the water, waiting for a nice duck to land! The colors are wonderful, and I can just feel the anticipation, but at the same time there is a calm feeling to it. Love it! Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted July 15, 2009 Don't be so technikal. It is not the chair, the main subject here. The chair is just a good anchor point for the composition, and good as it is. The dog is the main subject in the composition, a focal point to the scenery, the beautiful morning feel , the reflection on the water and just enough sky to finish the composition. The colors are very good. the posse of the dog is perfect, it is a great shoot. Reminds me of Colville or Robert Batemans paintings. Bravo Christine. Cheers; Bela Link to comment
dudleyadk 0 Posted July 17, 2009 Chairs come and go. Labs are special. Nice shot, especially the back legs. Link to comment
christineandrews 0 Posted July 23, 2009 Wow thank you for the feedback...I really appreciate it...especially the comment that the chair is NOT the focal point, the dog is...makes sense to me. Thank you Link to comment
RonRspix 0 Posted February 13, 2016 Beautiful tones that emit a very peaceful, late afternoon, feeling. The dog enhances it tremendously. Congrats Christine . Link to comment
