bosshogg 4 Posted June 8, 2009 Nice composition. The elements at first seem busy, but with a bit of time they all seem to fall into place. I've got a feeling that this place is too rich for my blood. Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted June 8, 2009 I want everything. I want the watches, the glamor in the ads, even the charming old world of the seller. The viewer is behind bars. How do you get in? Link to comment
tmcleland 0 Posted June 8, 2009 I guess you have to protect the merchandise from the brand-name fanatics like me, yah? Cool shot. I'm a big fan of "shooting through" things. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 8, 2009 Mario, for all your feedback Dave, you are absolutely right, too rich, and needs heavy, very heavy bars to defend it.....lol Donna, the seller is behind bars not the viewers....There was a door, but I did not try to enter, too rich... I was amused at the heavy metal bars to defend all this beauty (from you and others ... lol)... , that wanted all this ..... Tim, yes, we have a saying here( free translation) : "one that has a lot of property has a lot of worries as well" ...;-)) Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted June 8, 2009 Your image has inspired me to grab my camera and go out shooting, but that will have to wait until I get over this bad head cold. Thanks for the inspiration. Shawn Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted June 8, 2009 Pnina, Yes, it is clear that the seller is behind bars. I was just saying... you're right; it's tempting! Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted June 8, 2009 it's fascinating how bars, gate, fence, etc... can trigger imagination about in/out, belonging/not belonging.... Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 9, 2009 Shawn ( nice surprise)... loving the medium, we don't need much to be inspired and grab the camera.. I hope by now you are fit again Donna, thanks for the follow up...., yes tempting is an actions for some..... Laurent bars fences and the rest is like a photo without word...."don't trespass....." ;-)) Link to comment

godfather 0 Posted June 10, 2009 First i saw this i thought the same title on my mind. After i saw your title i got a little smile on my face. Guess it was too obvious :D Guess your intention was to put the dude behind the bars... but i'm just happy that those young and beautiful models are there ;D Cheers. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 10, 2009 Amal, Alberto , Alberta and Tero, for your nice feedback Alberta, waiting to see your results with the new direction, I'm sure you will take your camera with you ....;-)) Tero, I smiled as well seeing the man in his self made "prison".... Behind the bars... was titled just to enhance my feelings about it ...As I wrote to Tim we have a saying here( free translation) : "one that has a lot of property has a lot of worries ".....;-)) Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 13, 2009 Great image from the street Pina....protecting ourselves from within and without..I'm sure the shop keepers are used to it...and an 'essential in our world...great statement on the 'state of affairs' of our society. It goes even beyond Jewellery shops doesn't it....great image....impressive.....Gail Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 13, 2009 Gail, yes it is a kind of a mirror of our society, the bars (' prison " ) we put on ourselves sometimes. ..Thanks for you visit and impression. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 13, 2009 I like this one a lot. It's like a puzzle or game where the pieces have been fit together to create the picture, each little square playing its part. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 18, 2009 Senol and Jack. Jack, your eye as a photographer fits your commentary on photos as well. I like your point of view .I see it now as well as little fragment of the whole story....;-)) Link to comment
