vatovec
I inadvertedly exposed a TMY 400 as a 100 ASA film.I decided to experiment a little it wasn`t that important so i made a dilution 1+99 of HC 110 and developed it for 15 min @ 24°C with agitation for the first 15 secs and then one inversion per 2 mins. However the result is fine till the 27th frame on where the film is noticably underdeveloped (maybe a little fogged to but i didn`t see it that clear at 3:00 am when i finishe). What is the problem? Was the dilution an exageration or did i just invert to little? And why it affected onli the last 9 frames of the film (the ones that were in the inner side of the reel)? Just curioius about it. However for what i saw for the part that came out well the tonality looks much better then straight tmax 400!
panyitu
Are you completely sure you did not underexpose those frames?
joe_symchyshyn
Chemistry can't underdevelop a portion of the film in that way. It has to be your exposure.
pavel_hampl_prague_cz
what about the frame numbers and film descriptions on the film border? Are they brighter too around those last nine frames, or are dark as other?
vatovec
You`re right guys the perforation is even all across the film lenght so i must have underexposed those last shots by a stop (hmm, underexposed an overexposed film :-)). Thanx !
