Adding photos from flickr

Hi

photo.net used to be able to show photos with BBC code from Flickr, but after recent upgrade (less than a year ago) this function is no longer working.

Very occasionally when I reply to a thread, some flickr link will automatically load the image. But most of the time, it does not work.

It is quite tedious to copy paste the image link using the upload with url function, and wasting my quota if I upload the image file directly.

Do you have any success in posting an image from flickr with just the link?

The flickr share link always work for me:

Just paste it directly into the thread space, and the image will show up automatically. It hasn't failed me so far.

you don't need to insert image or link or anything, just paste the share link.

I just use the URL link for the page provided by the internet service at the top of the page.

I was just thinking that could it be that if you photo is larger than what's accepted by Photo.net, then those won't be accepted?

Thank you both. Maybe I was using the BBC code instead of just the link. Will try it later.

Bit strange, it did not work for me. Like the last post with the flickr link.

@Niels - NHSN may I ask which browser (Safari, Edge, Chrome) are you using? And on which computer OS (Windows, Mac)?

I use Safari/Mac.

You sometimes have to wait a few seconds for the photo.net software to parse the link and show the picture.
