There is no obvious place to post technical notes of interest to collectors and other deranged accumulators. For example, what about a nostalgic thread on camera straps? Unwanted? "You must remember this, a strap is just a strap As time goes by,,," Too subtle? Just put in a 35mm camera etc back under Classic Manual Film cameras!!! John Seaman Posted March 15, 2023 Share Posted March 15, 2023 (edited) I see the number of straps in my bag as an indicator of the reliability or otherwise of the camera makers. Currently Minolta are winning, Canon a close second. But yes, lumping together pretty much all film and digital cameras into one category is not helpful.
