Leslie Reid
You are invited to upload one or more of your landscape photos and, if you’d like, to accompany your image with some commentary: challenges you faced in making the image? your intent for the image? settings? post-processing decisions? why you did what you did? the place and time? or an aspect you’d like feedback on? And please feel free to ask questions of others who have posted images or to join the discussion. If you don’t feel like using words, that’s OK too—unaccompanied images (or unaccompanied words, for that matter) are also very much welcomed. As for the technicalities, the usual forum guidelines apply: files < 1 MB; image size <1000 px maximum dimension. Since I've recently spent so much time working with storm photos, I couldn't resist posting another (also from about the same location as the last 4 I posted). Maybe I'll move on to sunshine next week. Or maybe not.

Ricochetrider
Shot this a few years ago, 2011 I think, in Scotland. We were staying up on the north coast at Kyle Of Tongue. The light was super harsh and this was before I ever really got into photography, shooting with a pocket sized Panasonic Lumix, pretty much straight into the afternoon sun at this point. I never thought I was very good at Landscapes but I've always taken "pictures" of my travels. Turns out this is one of my all time favorite shots. I've only "auto-adjusted" light, levels, & curves & cropped it to 16:9 Edited February 1 by Ricochetrider

The Faculty Club is free and open to the public. We hung the exhibit this morning, it looks good!
