Kamerastore.com which usually have reasonable prices put this up for sale today: Same place I bought a perfect Tamron 80-210/3.8 (103A) with a Nikon Ai adapter for €39 a month ago. This is the highest price I have seen a Leica R adapter selling for so far. At that price you would expect at least to get a Tamron lens attached. When I was shopping around in August, it was my impression they were around €50-60, which I found steep since a common Nikon could be had for €10-20.
