Tony I do not have a lot of experience with this film. I also had a some Microphen reaching expiration that needed to be mixed. I was very happy with HP5 in straight Microphen so my first roll of PanF metered at iso 40 was developed in Microphen 1-1 68f/20c for 6 minutes. Mike G may have better advice using HC110.

Thank you James, high praise indeed! The PMK Pyro works very well with some films and HP5 Plus is a good example of this. Another film that partners well with the Pyro is the Astrum Photo 100; I've just finished the last of my stock of this film and I'm debating whether or not to order some more. It's a dreadful film to handle, super-thin and curly with the occasional manufacturing defect, but when it all comes together the results can be very good indeed. I'll post some from this series next week, but here's a sample. The camera was a Minolta A7 with the Minolta 28-85mm f/3.5-4.5 lens.

Plants and flowers in the garden. Testing the Leica Elmarit-R 60mm f/2.8 macro lens (late 3CAM model, 55mm filter, Made in Canada). And it is brilliant!

Fujifilm Reala 100 (expired 2004-06, rated 50) and home C41 processing.

I consider it "actually damaged". The front glass looks like someone (gently) buffed it with sandpaper. That's strange since it's in a nice leather case so the camera was protected. My dad, a GI in WW2, got it over in Germany back in the mid-40's.

Aw, that's a shame. I had a 5cm f/2.5 Hektor that looked like it got attacked by a belt sander. It cost me a pretty penny to get it polished and adjusted.

I have two Leica IIIc cameras that were delivered to the US Army of the Occupation around august 1945 and were sold through the PX. These are from the earliest batch of post-war Leica IIIc "K" cameras (according to the Leica ledgers)

A few from the Minolta SR 505 and 50mm f 1.7 lens that I posted in the "What camera..." thread earlier. I used Ilford FP4+ processed in HC 110 dilution H.

Russell Street in Starkville, also used a K2 filter

Saving a few for new thread plus will scan a roll of HP5+ that was in my Rollei B35.
