Film Camera Week for June 24

Recommended Posts

Greetings, all, and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. Location and tech data are a plus. I'll start with some images from a roll of Kentmere 100 that I processed and scanned earlier in the week. The camera was a Konica Auto S 1.6 and I processed the film in Kodak HC 110 dilution H. I scanned with an Epson V600.

That's all for now. Might add some more if I process some more film.

For early risers, all five visible planets will be lined up about 30 minutes or so before sunrise, You will need a clear eastern horizon to see Mercury. Moon is also part of the line up.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's images.

By the time I read your reminder only the moon and maybe Mercury were visible. I appreciate the heads up though.

Actually damaged or just hazy?

I consider it "actually damaged". The front glass looks like someone (gently) buffed it with sandpaper. That's strange since it's in a nice leather case so the camera was protected. My dad, a GI in WW2, got it over in Germany back in the mid-40's.

A very sunny, bright and hot late afternoon at the Arizona Garden in Stanford University. Perfect for the fierce dessert sun feeling in the photos.

And I really enjoy the Nikon FA with 50/1.2 lens, a perfect one camera one lens combo that I can handle any photographic situations. And Fujifilm Reala 100, my favorite color negative film, really shines in such occasion too. Cinestill CS41 home processing.

I always try to take a series of photographs on the the shortest day, as the shadows are at their longest and most dramatic. Here are a few taken at the solstice; the camera was a Yashica 230-AF with a 28-85mm Yashica (Kyocera) AF Macro f/3.5-4.5 lens and the film was Kentmere 100 developed in PMK Pyro.

Not the easiest film to master but I had some 35mm Pan F+ that needed to be used. I have decided to make it a personal project to attempt and "master" (tough adjective to live up to) this film. More around the house shots with the F100, 35 and 60 mm lenses on Pan F developed in Microphen 1-1 for 6 minutes.
