Mike Gammill
That 50mm f 2 is a great little lens. The last production of them were A series which meant they would meter properly on later program Pentax cameras and work manually with full metering on the ZX series AF models. I use my A series 50 in full program on my ZX-5 (whose AF went south a few years ago)
darin_cozine
Hello everyone! I have not posted here in a great while. But today I felt the need to. I'm glad it is still going. This was taken with a Bessa I with 105mm f3.5 Color Skopar. Film is Delta 100 developed in XTOL. Film scanned, contrast added and a little warm tone.

randy_boren1
Greetings all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. I'll start with a few from a roll of Eastman 5222 (aka Double X) that I shot in my Minolta Hi Matic 7S. From balcony (where I run sound board) of my church. We're now allowing limited attendance, but still on the radio and Facebook live. The Hi Matic works well with a Wein cell and I usually leave it to choose exposure via programmed automation. one of several BBQ places in West Point exterior work to another local church. The 45mm f 1.7 delivers sharp results, even when cropped a little as in this photo. This, btw, is my last roll of Eastman 5222 for now. It has gotten too pricey for me. The Ilford films I use are less expensive. I miss the days when I could get 5222 for 5 cents a foot. (short ends) That would make a 100' roll cost five dollars. overcast morning on Main Street One more signs and support structures The Hi Matic claims to have CLC metering, but I'm not sure how that's done with only a single CDS cell. I plan to make a few tests with the next roll I run through this camera. I look forward to seeing everyone's photos. May I ask for your processing info, developer, times, temp, agitation routine. Your images look very good. I came across a 400ft roll of 5222 an am having a bit of a problem with it. It has a bit of age fog, most of my images are good but I'm looking to get better quality. I may have to go with using a restrainer to clear the fog but I know it will screw with the contrast and not give my optimum tones. Thanks, RandyB
Mike Gammill
Randy- I rated my 5222 at box speed (E.I. 250) and processed for 6.5 minutes at 68 F. Developer was HC 110 dilution B. I agitated five inversions every thirty seconds. HC 110 minimizes fog better than D-76 or similar developers. You could also rate it at a lower exposure index like 200 or maybe 160 with reduced development. With 400 ft I guess experimentation isn't a problem. Be sure and post some results. Ricochetrider
Hello everyone. I just got some new scans in yesterday. 5 rolls of film, mixed between 35mm & 120. Shot some Ferrania P30, which is supposedly rated at iso 80, Shot at box speed and generally, I am not super happy with the results. There is still a lot of experimentation going on by people who are shooting and home developing this, and they are all over the map, it seems. Here are a few shots, following Chuck's lead to the wall of shame- featuring "the good, the bad, and the ugly" (to borrow shamelessly from Mr Leone). I usually auto-adjust light, and sometimes levels & curves as needed on scans. These needed all the help they could get so each has all three adjustments made. Oh and this would all be the VOigtlander R3m with their 50mm f3.5 Heliar lens the good: (well, pretty good anyway) the bad I actually like this shot of the Eden Drive In, even tho not ideally exposed. the ugly (the fine line between bad & ugly) Maybe this was user error, shoulda rated it at ISO 50 maybe? The R3m sometimes does tend to have its shots come out a little dark, but never really underexposed. These were shot in varying light from cloudy to full sun Edited July 21, 2020 by Ricochetrider
Ricochetrider
and on a much lighter note (I make the joke), a couple of 35 mm shots (same gear as above) shot on Fuji Industrial 100. One of my friend Hugh Mackie's race bikes
Ricochetrider
OK darn it, I missed a couple photos from the Ferrania and these are actually far more "the good" than those posted in that category a minute ago (too long ago to edit unfortunately), Messing around in my driveway, here are 2 more that I actually quite like from this film. The first is still a bit dark but the blacks are super deep and I like the contrast tho it's not annoyingly contrasty. Let's call these the "pretty good" this next one is everything I thought Ferrania P30 could be; edgy and sort of crazy
