Mike Gammill
Don Harpold said Here are a few from the Retina IIIc using Bergger Pancro 400 shot at 200 and developed normal in HC110 dil. B This came out more contrasty than expected, I tried to back off the contrast but... Could it be HC110 is not quite right for this stock or maybe 200 is not the speed? Many HC110 users find dilution H (use half as much concentrate per water volume or 1:63) Changes in developing time or E.I. for film have less effect so it might be easier to dial in an optimum developing time. Also, if dilution H works, you will save money on developer as well.
Don Harpold
Thanks Mike I will try H next time, how about more or less agitation? Thanks Don
Mike Gammill
I would only change one factor at a time. And less agitation generally lowers contrast.

Ricochetrider
I'm still getting film processed from the past few months, so here are a couple from the latest batch. Camera, Hasselblad 500cm Tri-X 400 Fuji Acros 100 (cropped @ 3:2) another crop Next rolls up are 120 Ektar, Portra, and another roll of Acros 100. I bought some 35mm Rollei Superpan 200, some expired Kodak Vericolor (VPS) in 120, and some expired Svema B&W, also in 120. Haffta make some time to do some shooting.
Julio Fernandez
I am late for this, but anyway: Hello Here are a few from the Retina IIIc using Bergger Pancro 400 shot at 200 and developed normal in HC110 dil. B This came out more contrasty than expected, I tried to back off the contrast but... Could it be HC110 is not quite right for this stock or maybe 200 is not the speed? If shot at 200 you should "pull", i.e. develop for a shorter time than recommended for EI 400. . However, these scans look wonderful!
Don Harpold
Hello Julio Thanks for the comments I had read several posts on Bergger and most said best results were at 200 and then developing at normal 400 times.
