chuck909
Being used to loading 35mm from bulk rolls since I was about 10, it seemed obvious that one should be able to load Super 8 cartridges the same way. It seems that there is a Double Super 8, intended to be used the same way that regular 8 is used. I suspect that with the proper equipment, one could slit the film before processing and use it as Super 8. I don't know if loadable cartridges are available. Yes, there was a double S8 that came in 100' rolls. Like regular 8 it was flipped at the end run again and then split in processing giving 200' of S8. It was not overly popular. Reloading an S8 cartridge is next to impossible. I just did remember that Kodak MAY have loaded 400' roll for TV use.

glen_h
My current interest is in Estes Cineroc film, which is about 10.5 feet of Super 8 in a special cartridge. I just found this: Processing Super 8mm Cineroc Film - Смотреть видео бесплатно онлайн which tells one way to develop such film. -- glen

Just goes to show that some people will do something just to show that it can be done. Good luck finding bulk S8 film
