A lot of rain the first half of this summer. Which means the local fungus is going nuts. So for this Nikon Wednesday, it's the above-the-ground visible part of the fungus that's eating away at some old tree roots in our front yard. All it needed on the foggy morning I took the picture was perhaps a toad to sit on it. What's everyone else been seeing? Share some photos!

I think I've been watching too much of "The Great British Baking show" recently. I saw this flower and all I could think of was a fancy "show stopper" cake (with carefully crafted chocolate fly on top).

I've been trying for some time to capture a dragonfly in the air. It's sure nice to have a delete button so nobody know how many I didn't get.
