malvin_latief
Hey all, which is your all around favorite 120 B&W film? Cheers! :-)
greg_smith4
So many choices... I like FP4 for slower, Tri-X for a medium (although I rate it at 200-300 iso), and Delta 3200 for a fast. Why narrow it down to one film when there are so many choices?

mike dixon
All-around, multipurpose, 120 favorite: HP5+
lex_jenkins
TMX. Most of my medium format work is with a tripod mounted TLR, shooting architecture, weirdscapes and whatever my muse whispers in my ear. If I wanted some liberation from the tripod I'd use Tri-X or HP5+. Same stuff I prefer in 35mm.

mbuntag
All around, Tri-X and HP5+. Both are fast films, and the grain is nice at 120.
._._z
APX 400 on the streeet. APX 100 and Ilford FP4 for controlled shots indoors. My diminishing brick of Verichrome for special situations.
malvin_latief
Thank you all for the responses. I'm just getting some idea on what people like to shoot with. I myself have limited experience with B&W film. I shoot with FP4 and HP5 when shooting 35mm. I just purchased a 500CM so I'm still figuring out which film I like for 6x6 :-)
adrian_vincent_twiss
Agfa APX 25 (damn Agfa for discontinuing it) - I'm down to my last dozen rolls. Fuji Neopan 400 in 120 - nice and bright for the right picture Kodak Verichrome pan (damn Kodak for discontinuing it) - Lovely and creamy. I'm down to my last 50 rolls. Thank God for the deep freeze. uncle_ziba
120/220 HP5+ in XTOL 1:1 printed on Ilford Pearl MG paper blows my socks off. I don't think I'll ever want to use another film. Forget about digital crap.
robert_marvin
For all around use, Ilford HP5; with a tripod(or in bright light) Efke R 25 (used to use Agfapan 25--I actually like the Efke film more). FWIW, I like the same2 films for 35 mm (although the Efke is called KB 25 in that size). Bob Marvin
