Norman 202
Norman gladly picked up on and to which Moving On then responded to resulting in yet another stupid left / right bickering it’s not a left/right bickering, it’s about giving credit to the original source. if der eu luvin’ graun filched sites the way the daily heil did i would raise issue with that. Norman 202
it takes two shakes of a lamb’s tail* to find the original source of a photo award, why not post a link to that? *mebbe a bit longer for some
Moving On
You are certainly free to reframe the argument, but the context of the original post was political. The first time I saw the argument against the Daily Mail it was definitely a left/right thing. The term “heil” reinforces that. The known political leanings of the posters reinforces it. Norman 202
and if i have reframed it into to something we all agree on, why are you bringing up what it may have been about. if we all agree credit should be given to the source let’s do that. Mark, you search the archives. You can’t move on can you, which is ironic given your sentimental claptrap screen name.
Norman 202
Additionaly duh, how many Ls in Additionally? You’d better stick to acronyms Mark. They are easier to spell. (I wonder if Mark knows LMAO is also an acronym for Like My Ass Open)
Sanford
Have a little mercy! Often, I get alerts for threads I didn't sign up for. This thread is one of them. I have to open each one to get rid of it. As with all political debates it has deteriorated into who can get in the last word in. I am declaring a draw. Please end it NOW. How is P/N ever going to trust us with a return to the popular "Off Topic" category if we can't show some adult restraint.
Sandy Vongries
The Daily Mail is one among a great many publications I regularly scan. Of those that are not photography publications, it happens to be the one with the most photography related articles. There are those who don't care for the DM (to put it mildly), I add a DM warning simply so that those individuals can avoid the post if they chose to. In most cases, the title would allow a search for the original source of the images.

Fair enough, Sanford but, as an aside, you should contact the admins to get them to tone down the alerts
Sanford
When something isn't functioning correctly on P/N my first thought is always "work around", not getting admin to address it.
