Andrew in Austin
On the topic of a heavy film camera- that Minox is more easily transportable than my Vitomatic IIa shown below. 5 Best Regards - Andrew in Austin, TX
rick_drawbridge
This weekend I'll try again with this pretty little Balda Mess Baldinette. A couple of trial films have resulted in severe scratching of the emulsion, and I've polished and lubricated and generally attended to every source I can think of, so I'm hoping for something better.

Bill Bowes
Basics this weekend. This compact Vito II will allow more goodies (food ! ) in the backpack on The Bus trip home. Aloha, Bill
Mike Gammill
Also out for exercise over next few days. The observant reader will notice something absent from the labeling on camera as was on earlier SRT models.
dan_mcclain
My departed Grandpa’s Rolfix. I’ve recently used it many places from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Empire State Building. Thanks to a recent CLA it works well.
glen_h
Certo Dolly, I believe A model, with VP127. (VP is about 50 years old.) The shutter looks close enough on 1/50, and 1/100, maybe on 1/300. Slower speeds often seem to take a long time. I might try cleaning the shutter later. 5 -- glen
Niels - NHSN
This NIKKOR-H•C Auto 85mm 1:1.8 from around 1974 will see some action during the weekend. It is a heavy beast 420 grams which combined with the Nikkormat EL bring the weight up to 1.2 kg - not including HP5+, hood and strap. (This is in sharp contrast to last week's Minox 35 EL that came in at only 200 grams). The optical formula is said to have been introduced in 1964 and was in production up until 1977 (in a variety of cosmetic/coating incarnations). The lens barrel and focusing ring on this one shows age-appropriate wear, but the glass is perfect. Lovely substantial piece of glass to handle. I hope it (and I) will perform. A few months ago I bought a pre-Ai Nikon camera, with the purpose of having a platform for a few non-Ai lenses in my cabinet that saw little use (because I am lazy and don't think stop-down metering on my F3 is fun). The downside of this purchase, is that I now have my eyes open for bargains on non-Ai lenses - of which there are many, unfortunately. (To make matters worse; I added another pre-Ai camera that was sold with an interesting lens). 4 Niels
Andrew in Austin
This now reconditioned Agfa Billy Record II came to me with the Solinar fitted to a Synchro-Compur. It took me years to figure a safe way to unfreeze the front focusing cell. - Upon which time, it received the needed new bellows. Without a doubt, a second tier medium format folder - with that said, when folded it's a very compact package for the format. With regards to looks, the camera still has a bit of the Art Deco charm of Agfa's earlier versions of the Record. 5 Best Regards - Andrew in Austin, TX

OK, I'll rise to the bait. I have a Braun Norca II that I recently tidied up, but it's sat on the shelf waiting for me to get around to testing it with film. It's a middle of the road folder, with internal blinds to give the user a choice of 6x9 or 6x6 formats on 120 film. I'll try to run a film this weekend. Mike Gammill
Just now starting on the film in the Minolta SRT SCII. Alert readers may have notice the absence of the CLC designation on the front of the camera. Near the end of SRT production Minolta switched to a single CDS cell, probably to cut costs. Also, the SCII, which was originally sold through discount stores, became available to Minolta dealers once SRT 201 production had ceased. The only significant difference I've observed is turning a single CDS SRT vertically doesn't seem to have an appreciable effect on the meter reading as it often did with the two cell arrangement.

chuck_foreman1
I do love 6x9 and RCap's Bessa is similar, yet different. Mine has the 3.5 Skopar. I've had quite a ride with it. No tab to open, jammed shutter and surprise, no advance knob and then a dogged search for a mysterious light leak. . And now, I noted anew a slight light leak... on the roll I exposed last week ..but for the sake of unpublished pictures and camera porn.. jon_shumpert2
I'm going out tomorrow to finish a roll of film in my Nikon F3. I will be using a Tokina 150-500 f5.6 for all the shots. It is a beast of a lens, and if it doesn't produce good images, I can use it as a dumbell. I just bought a Canon TX and 50mm f3.5 macro this past week and will try to take some shots with that combo later this week.
rick_drawbridge
Relatively new to me, and hugely impressive, a Minolta Dynax 7, quite possibly the most sophisticated film camera I've handled. A joy to use, with features I recognize as being the forerunners for my Sony A-Series digital cameras. Also known as the Maxxum 7 and A-7, of course.
Mike Gammill
To add to Rick's description the Maxxum 24-105 pictured on the camera is a great performing lens that still fetches a high price (depending on condition). While the earlier 24-85 was a good lens as well, this one performs even better with more zoom range. I look forward to seeing some images, Rick.
djb222
I think it's about time I put a second roll of film through my Zeiss Ikon Nettax 513/16, essentially a Nettar with an uncoupled light meter. I just love the 6x6 format.
