randy_cooprider1 Posted January 24, 2016 Share Posted January 24, 2016 Put the Konica 50mm on the Nex 3 and took a few test shots. Since Howard must be busy, here goes.

Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
randy_cooprider1 Posted January 24, 2016 Author Share Posted January 24, 2016 Although we were not hit by the snowfall landing in the east, there is still some laying about. The two black dots on the right are crows.

Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

howardstanbury Posted January 24, 2016 Share Posted January 24, 2016
Thanks, Randy, for kicking things off. That's a lovely photo of Maggie!

I was in London today, visiting the British Museum. Sadly there is no photography allowed in The Celts exhibition I went to see, but the building is as great as ever.

<a title="British Museum" href=" data-flickr-embed="true">

<a title="Great Court 1" href=" data-flickr-embed="true">

^ The Great Court roof is a gift for wide angle lenses

<a title="thy feet ..." href=" data-flickr-embed="true">

^ As is the floor ...

All A7 with LA-EA4 adapter and a Sigma Super-Wide II 24mm f/2.8 lens.
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

riffeym Posted January 26, 2016 Share Posted January 26, 2016
Greetings Gentlemen!
Some pictures highlighting my other passion - collecting and repairing older analog stereo equipment. All the following pictures were taken using my trusty Sony A300 DSLR mounted with a Sony DT f2.8 30mm Macro SAM lens.

Marrantz 2216B Stereo Receiver with newly installed LED dial lights

Newly acquired and refurbished Nakamichi 600 II 2 head cassette deck with optional wooden case

Refurbished Akai 1800D-SS 4 Channel Reel to Reel

These are some of the last pictures with my A300 as it is winging it's way to Chicago to a new owner. A bitter sweet sacrifice to help fund my latest acquisition, a Nikon D7100.

Mike :D
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
howardstanbury Posted January 26, 2016 Share Posted January 26, 2016
Some serious gear there, Mike. Good luck with the new camera - it'll be a shame not to have your photos in this forum, unless you keep the film flame alive, of course!
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
riffeym Posted January 26, 2016 Share Posted January 26, 2016
Thanks Howard!
I have kept the A200, which is the wife's camera. Same 10.2 CCD sensor just doesn't have live view or the flip out screen. I have kept the Minolta 50mm f1.7, the Minolta 35-70mm f4 zoom, the 70-210mm f3.5-4.5 zoom lenses along with the A200's kit lens. On the film front, I'm thinking about selling the Maxxum 9000 and accessories but keeping the Maxxum 9xi.

I won't be leaving the Sony/Minolta forum completely but I will be sharing my time between here and the Nikon forum. I also plan on purchasing either a Nikon F100, F5 or possibly a F4S to continue my film insanity in the Nikon forum too!

So, I still plan on bothering you guys too! See you next week!

Mike :D
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
